‘My Principal is a Superhero’ is a fun and easy read for ages 4-10. Published in large print, this book is also great for classroom read-alouds and as an entertaining book to read at home.

My summary…

This story is about how Mr. Clarkson’s students view him. He does such really great things that the students suggest that he’s really a superhero–which isn’t too far from the truth.

My thoughts…

I really enjoyed reading this story. I agree with the writers that this is an excellent read-aloud book, especially in a class setting. The imagery is simple yet welcoming to the reader. I’m glad to read a book that highlights educational professionals as they are often unsung heroes. The Ackers do a great job of accentuating the principal’s traits to those indicative of a superhero. I loved that!
